OUR STORY

Our story began in 2020 as Lime & Loaf—a pop-up style shop inside Smith & York Co., featuring a small yet diverse collection of high-quality kitchen items for cooking and baking. In 2021, Lime & Loaf graduated into a full-service location at New South Marketplace at 510 North Garden Street in downtown Columbia, Tennessee, offering an expanded collection of kitchen essentials, along with a hands-on kitchen for hosting cooking classes and demonstrations and a grab-and-go style coffee shop.

Now fully owned and operated by Adam and Kathryn York and rebranded in 2023, Gather Kitchen Mercantile exists as a thoughtfully-curated kitchen and dining retail and gift shop. Gather offers patrons practical and high-quality items for cooking and baking, a variety of tabletop basics, a delightful selection of pantry goods, and gift registry services. Small learning workshops and pop-up tasting experiences may be offered on occasion. Due to facility limitations in our current location, we are no longer able to provide cooking classes* on site.

*If you have old Lime & Loaf gift cards for cooking classes, we do still accept those at Gather for store merchandise, so we invite you to come shop with us soon to cash those in on some new kitchen and tabletop items!
